Discover Your Best Skin With PRP Microneedling in Nashville, TN

Microneedling is one of our favorite treatments for softening fine lines, improving texture, and supporting long-term skin health—all with minimal downtime. This collagen-stimulating treatment creates controlled micro-injuries that signal your skin to repair and rebuild, revealing a smoother, stronger, more refined surface.

Microneedling alone stimulates collagen and elastin production, but at Piqure, we take results further by offering the option to pair it with PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) or PDGF (Platelet-Derived Growth Factor) to dramatically amplify your body’s natural regeneration response.

Pricing starts at $500.

What Are PRP & PDGF, and Why Add Them to Microneedling?

PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) or PDGF (Platelet-Derived Growth Factor) are advanced biologic therapies that enhance cellular signaling, speed up tissue repair, and lead to more visible, long-lasting skin improvements when combined with your microneedling treatment.

PRP is derived from your own blood and concentrated to isolate the platelets—cells rich in growth factors. When applied post-microneedling, it delivers these growth factors deep into the skin, accelerating healing, enhancing collagen synthesis, and improving elasticity.

PDGF, on the other hand, is a lab-enhanced growth factor formulation that mimics the body’s regenerative signals at a much higher potency—up to 300,000 times more concentrated than natural PRP. It stimulates fibroblast activity and extracellular matrix remodeling, which leads to faster cell turnover, improved skin density, and more dramatic anti-aging effects in fewer treatments.

Both options enhance microneedling by creating a biologically active environment where skin heals more efficiently, collagen rebuilds more deeply, and texture and tone improve from the inside out!

Your Microneedling Cheat Sheet: FAQs

Microneedling is one of our most-requested treatments, and we hear a lot of great questions from first-timers. Here are a few of the most common ones.

It’s not exactly relaxing—but it’s very tolerable. Most clients describe it as a light prickling or a mild sunburn sensation. If you’re concerned about discomfort, we can apply a numbing cream beforehand to keep you comfortable from start to finish. You may feel more sensitivity in certain areas (like near the hairline or around the mouth), but treatments are quick and any discomfort fades fast.

You might notice a post-treatment glow within the first few days, but the real magic happens over time. Collagen production kicks in gradually, so most clients begin to see visible improvements in skin texture, tone, and firmness around 3–4 weeks after treatment. For best results, we typically recommend a series of sessions spaced a few weeks apart.

Side effects are usually mild and temporary and include light redness, swelling, or a tight, flushed feeling for a day or two. Some clients experience minor flaking or peeling as new skin comes to the surface. Because we’re using your body’s own platelets, the risk of a reaction is very low. We’ll give you aftercare instructions to help support healing and keep your skin happy.

You won’t need to hide out—but your skin may look pink or sunburned for a day or two. Skip makeup, workouts, and heat (like saunas or hot showers) for 24–48 hours post-treatment to let your skin fully recover.

After that, most clients return to their usual routine. We’ll send you home with personalized aftercare instructions at the time of your appointment so your glow stays on track.

It depends on your skin goals. For general skin rejuvenation, a series of 3 to 4 sessions spaced 4–6 weeks apart is a great place to start. If you’re targeting acne scars or deeper texture issues, you may benefit from 5–6 sessions.

Your Piqure provider will create a treatment plan that fits your skin, lifestyle, and the long-term results you’re looking for.

Microneedling with PRP is safe and effective for most skin tones and types, and it’s a great option if you’re looking for a treatment that doesn’t rely on heat or harsh chemicals. However, we may recommend holding off if you have active breakouts, rosacea flares, or certain skin conditions like eczema or psoriasis.

Don’t worry—during your consultation, we’ll assess your skin and make sure this treatment is a perfect fit.
